Surgery Hours
Main surgery
The surgery is open Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm. with the exception of Bank Holidays.  The surgery is no longer open on Saturday mornings.

The telephone lines are open between these times.

Surgery hours vary but, generally, are between 8.30 am and 11.00 am and between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm each day.  In addition to regular appointments, we offer a number of  evening appointments for patients who find it hard to attend the surgery during normal opening hours.  These appointments are for routine matters and can be book in advance.  Please look at individual doctor's details and nurse clinic times.

Barrow surgery
The Barrow branch is open as follows:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8.30 pm - 12.30 pm
  2.30 pm - 6.00 pm
Tuesday 8.30 am - 12.30 pm
  3.30 pm - 6.00 pm
Thursday 8.30 am - 12.30 pm
  Closed in the afternoon
When the Barrow surgery is closed, ring 01284 701601 for emergency medical attention.


Disabled people
In Bury St. Edmunds, wheelchair access is available by the side entrance which is approached through the surgery staff car park.  The door is opened automatically by pressing on the metal plate to the left of the doorway.  A disabled toilet is located off the foyer near the front door.
In Barrow, wheelchair access is through the front door and a disable toilet is, also, available.
For either site, on arriving for an appointment, please inform the receptionist if you have any special needs, such as hearing or visual impairment.

Baby changing facilities are available at both surgeries.

Change your registered address

If you move house after registering with the practice it is important to inform us of your new address.  To do so, please call at reception to complete a Change of Address Form or telephone us on 01284 701601 (or 0844 4773921 is you attend the Barrow branch).

If you have registered for requesting repeat prescriptions online through EMIS Access, you will be able to inform us of your new address by linking to:  EMIS Access
Please note that you need to have set up your account to use the online facility.  To do this, please contact reception.  It will be necessary for you to attend the surgery, bringing with you some form of identification, such as a driving licence or passport.  If you are unable to attend, you must provide another person, acting on your behalf, with signed, written consent and a means of identification with your signature on it to be given these details.  Clearly, access to the online facility needs to be secure, hence the need for the above precautions.  Please retain the information you are provided with for future use.
