Surgery Hours

THE GUILDHALL SURGERY

The surgery is open Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm, with the exception of bank holidays. The telephone lines are open between these times. The surgery is not typically open on Saturday or Sunday, except when advertised specifically.

Clinic hours vary but, generally, are between 8.30 am and 11.00 am and between 3.00 pm and 5.30 pm each day.

In addition to regular appointments, we offer a number of evening appointments for patients who find it hard to attend the surgery during normal opening hours. These appointments are for routine matters and can be booked in advance. Please look at individual doctor’s details and nurse clinic times.

Please note: from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, we ask that you only contact us if you require immediate assistance. This allows our staff to ensure they have dealt with all of the urgent queries from earlier in the day, before our closing time.

Closed for lunch

2.30pm – 5.30pm

This does not affect the Guildhall Pharmacy or Barrow Pharmacy opening times.

Out of Hours

If you require medical advice outside of the surgery hours – 6.30pm to 8am on weekdays, or during weekends and bank holidays, then please telephone 111.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
