Do you need travel vaccinations?
From 1 February 2026, we will be offering a limited number of appointments for travel consultations.
We provide NHS-funded travel vaccinations only. These include:
- Polio (given as Td/IPV)
- Tetanus
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
Please book your travel consultation at least 4 weeks before your departure date to allow enough time for vaccination and protection.
Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a pre-travel questionnaire sent to your mobile phone.
If we do not receive your completed questionnaire at least one week before your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled.
You will also be sent a link to a travel advice website where you can check the health risks for your destination. After your consultation, you will receive further information on:
- General travel health advice
- Bite prevention
- Relevant diseases for your travel plans
It is important that you read all the information provided to help you take the necessary steps to protect your health while travelling.
If you do not have a mobile phone, please visit the surgery to collect a paper form for completion.
Please note: If you require non-NHS travel vaccinations, you will need to contact a private travel clinic.
